1. Who we are

This Service is operated by Original Pictures Technologies, Inc. (“Original Pictures”, “we”, “our”, “us”), a Delaware corporation. We operate originalpictures.com and related subdomains (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit or use the Service.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

When you sign up, join the waitlist, complete our survey, or contact us, we collect your name, company, work email address, and the answers or messages you submit. We use this to communicate with you and to provision and improve the Service.

Usage and device data

We collect standard server logs (IP address, browser user-agent, pages visited, request timestamps) and analytics events via Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics to understand how the Service is used.

Content you submit for signing or verification

When you submit a file to the Original Pictures API we compute a cryptographic hash and attach a provenance manifest. We do not retain the raw bytes of your assets beyond the time needed to process the request.

3. Cookies, analytics & business-visitor identification

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functionality, analytics, and to recognize business visitors to our website. You can control cookies through your browser settings and via the consent notice shown on our site.

Third-party visitor identification (RB2B)

When you visit or log in to our website, cookies and similar technologies may be used by our online data partners or vendors to associate these activities with other personal information they or others have about you, including by association with your email. We (or service providers on our behalf) may then send communications and marketing to these email addresses. You may opt out of receiving this advertising by visiting https://app.retention.com/optout. You also have the option to opt out of the collection of your personal data in compliance with GDPR by visiting https://www.rb2b.com/rb2b-gdpr-opt-out.

4. How we use your information

  • To provide, operate, and improve the Service
  • To respond to enquiries and send communications and marketing relevant to your business
  • To send transactional emails (account, API keys, billing)
  • To detect and prevent abuse and security incidents
  • To meet legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data.

5. Legal basis (GDPR / EEA & UK)

If you are in the EEA or UK, our legal bases for processing are:

  • Contract — processing necessary to deliver the Service you requested
  • Legitimate interests — security, abuse prevention, analytics, and B2B marketing to business contacts
  • Consent — where required for non-essential cookies and tracking; you may withdraw at any time
  • Legal obligation — where required by applicable law

6. Data sharing & sub-processors

We share data with a limited number of service providers who process it on our behalf, including cloud infrastructure, email delivery, payment processing (Stripe), analytics (Google), and business-visitor identification (RB2B / Retention.com). Where data is transferred outside the EEA/UK we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards. We also disclose data where required by law.

7. Data retention

We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days. You may request deletion at any time (see your rights below).

8. Your rights

Depending on your location you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your data (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Restrict or object to certain processing
  • Receive your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent and opt out of tracking and marketing

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. You may also use the RB2B opt-out links in section 3 above.

9. Security

We encrypt data in transit (TLS) and at rest, manage signing keys via a hardware-backed key-management service, and run regular security reviews.

10. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above indicates the current version; material changes will be notified on this page.
