Stop deepfakes at onboarding with verified identity
The problem. Fraudsters now inject AI-generated faces and documents straight into the verification stream, sailing past liveness checks that only ever saw pixels. The selfie looks perfect, because it was never a real person in front of a real camera.
What it costs. Industry forecasts put generative-AI-enabled fraud losses in the tens of billions of dollars and climbing, and every account opened on a synthetic identity becomes a mule, a chargeback, or a compliance failure.
The fix: authentic capture at onboarding. Prove that an onboarding selfie or document was genuinely captured on a real device, in real time, and hasn't been altered or AI-generated. The proof is sealed in at capture and can be confirmed independently. Industry-standard and independently verifiable.
What you can do today
- Verify onboarding media against its capture record and flag anything injected, edited, or synthetic.
- Sign captured identity media at intake so you hold a defensible record of how each customer was verified.
- Reduce manual review by clearing genuine, provably-real submissions automatically.
The job it does for fraud and compliance teams
You need to know the person on the other end is real and present, not a model replaying a face. Authentic capture closes the injection gap and leaves you an auditable record of the verification, which also supports biometric-consent obligations.
FAQ
Does this replace my liveness vendor? It complements it. Liveness asks "is this a live person?"; authentic capture proves "was this genuinely captured here, now, and untouched?", defeating injected media that fools liveness alone.
Can we verify and audit this later? Yes. The record is independently verifiable and durable, so an auditor can confirm how a customer was onboarded long after the fact.
